She graduated from the Osaka University of Arts. After working in an interior design company and at a design firm, she established Maki Izawa Design Studio in Tokyo, Japan. Weiche Wu is a Taiwanese designer. He studied Industrial Design at Chang Gung University in Taiwan and received his MA in Industrial Design from Central St. Martins, London. In addition to product design, Weiche also specialises in graphic design, photography and critical design thinking. His expertise lies in shaping products in a very visual way, which in short means designing with a priority on aesthetics. In 2011, Weiche worked with the French company, Rémy Martin, to generate a new concept for their heritage Louis XIII brand. The final outcome ’Cérémonie pour un Roi’ and ‘L'essence de Rémy Martin’ have been featured at MAISON & OBJECT in Paris, Salone in Milan, Wallpaper Magazine and in other global media. Upon graduation from Central St. Martins, he joined Benjamin Hubert’s studio in London and participated in several iconic projects such as ‘Tenda’ lamp and ‘Construction Site’ in 2012 Designjunction. In 2013, he founded Taipei based Union Atelier. The studio works on varying design commissions and collaborations; and with the deliberate intention to combine international design trends with Taiwanese traditions, the team has created, and consistently applies, their own unique signature design language.

Dr. Ryu is an Assistant Professor of Visual Communication at the University of Oklahoma. He earned his B.F.A. in Advertising from ArtCenter College of Design, his M.F.A. in Design/Visual Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, and his Ph.D. in Design from the University of Edinburgh. He has authored, peer-reviewed, and presented papers in international journals and conferences. He has led commissioned and funded design consultations for private and public bodies, earning international recognition and awards for his work. His research interests include the development of codesign methods and approaches to address socially "wicked" problems and critical change.

Upon his completion of studies in Sydney, Karson became a tutor at the University of Technology and helped training more interior designers for the University. Since his move to Hong Kong in 2000, Karson continues to strive for his career as a designer. He has worked with Marc & Chantal, Alan Chan & Associates, Paring Onions. During this time he focused on design projects in the commercial sector, specialising in public spaces and exhibitions over Shanghai and Hong Kong. With years of experience in the design field, Karson also has a strong passion for graphics and photography - his designs are often expressed with a whimsical interpretation of his visual communication skills infused into interior spaces.
