Fabrizio Crisà is the Design Center Director at Elica. Born in 1973, he holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design at La Sapienza University of Rome. In 2005 he joined Elica and he was soon appointed Design Centre Manager and it has been leading the design team, playing a key role in the innovation process of the products. Creativity and sense of aesthetics, research for innovation are the pillars of his work. The passion for beauty and technological innovation is what shapes his unique and distinctive objects. His products have been awarded with many design prizes, Compasso d’Oro included.

In my designs, I draw inspiration not only from a futuristic perspective but also from movements such as surrealism and art nouveau. I believe that a piece of jewelry should exist timelessly as part of emotion, spirit, and body. Design is sometimes the transformation of tangible reality into our inner reality, and sometimes the manifestation of our abstract reality into a tangible form. He pursues deeper experiences by unraveling spatial design from context. As an artist, he has been expanding his activities by presenting installations using light. In recent years, he has been involved in many aspects of tangibles design in the field of sustainability.

Florian Seidl is an Austrian designer with several years of professional experience. Currently he is working as Lavazza's design manager at the Innovation Center in Turin and teaching at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan. Before that he was part of the design team that developed the Fiat 500 successfully into a whole range of different models and several other projects that can now be seen on the road. He has also done work for KTM and as freelancer for various other non-automotive brands. Always with a strong feeling for brand identity and the bigger picture beyond the project as a mere product.

Yuichiro Katsumoto is an artist and educator based in Saitama, Japan. He experiments with manipulating linear objects such as strings, strips, and springs to display letters and pictures. We humans have created art by writing and painting. It can be said that we have compressed our expressions into two dimensions by lines. He therefore seeks to decompress those lines into physical space, and display kinetic typographies and motion graphics using linear objects. He trained in video production, physical computing, and design thinking at Keio University SFC. He received a Ph.D. in 2010 and worked as a researcher at the National University of Singapore. He returned to Japan in 2018 and has been teaching design and practicing art at Tokyo Denki University since 2019.

I don’t get along to a silo as a designer, this is very fundamental to the kind of designing I do . The hunger to make a difference. Also to lead a time of passionate and creative people is a high in itself . My design philosophy is not to work in a silo but to be creative through the multidisciplinary approach. To work on public projects which brings narrative to the society. I design spaces where you experience a story, like you have films showcasing you a story , we do storytelling in space. Such spaces / museums are new to India comparatively. I see; we have long way to go and it can be super successful in Indian scenario .
