Ahmet Burak Veyisoglu, Founder & Managing Director of Cura Design, is originally from Istanbul, Turkey. Currently based in Shenzhen, China, his skill set covers a range of disciplines from treatments, concept development, design, art direction, through to the full execution of product development from initial engineering to post-manufacturing stages. He leads projects on a design and technical level; having a background working in full product development. During the past 10 years he has worked as the Design Manager, Asia Pacific Region of a globally well-known brand and since 2019 he has been running his own design studio, Cura Design, realising new projects for a range of big clients.

In a nutshell, “a dignified look to the product” during the design is the main approach since each object is a diarium that records the stories of people and how they lived to pass it on to others.

Ivan Levak is a creative director and designer from Zagreb who grew up in Milan and was educated in Holland and Germany. He started his creative adventure during his college days as a volunteer to create an event that later will become Croatian's first design week called D-Day (Design Day). Being able to meet all the design scene at that time, he starts doing his first product design collection for a very important, local design shop called Modus. After learning how to be an independent senior designer, he moves to Holland to master his graphic design skills and learn more about hospitality and spatial design. Then he moves to Berlin and finishes his internship in a mid-scale art production team as a product designer. With this international experience he gets recruited by a international startup to be their R&D product researcher. His latest vision is to build up his design studio and scout all the creative young bloods and make them future design icons from Croatia.

My name is Ma Junyu. I have five years of industrial design experience in the consumer electronics industry, mainly responsible for product ID design and CMF design. During this journey, I deeply understood the influence of design on products. My achievements include designing and successfully mass-producing more than 20 products, and winning more than 40 domestic and foreign industrial design awards, including the Best of the BEST Red Dot Product Design Award. More than 40 patents have been authorized. I believe that innovative design lies not only in beautiful looks, but also in the attention to the user experience. My design philosophy is to create authentic and valuable products through the combination of beauty, performance, user experience and market needs.

Our design concept is not only for spatial or material issue but also for relationship or environment of neighborhoods, or region. We strongly thought that this cinema should be there generating brand-new involvement of people, tenants and cinema. If we won a prize whatever, that would be the proof our concept global, not only accepted in Japan.
