Yana has worked in the field of advertising for more than a decade. Her work has gathered international acclaim from multiple print and online publications and was honored with several international awards. Over the years Yana has gained extensive experience in design and visual communication for advertising and has pushed boundaries with an array of non-standard projects. She has been involved creatively with a large list of local and international brands, among which Audi, Coca-Cola, Henkel, Mattel, Procter & Gamble, Unilever. Her work is characterized by strong concepts, carefully crafted design solutions and cutting-edge visuals with incredible attention to detail. After years of working as lead designer and art director at local agencies Yana decided to step up and take the challenge further. With a strong belief in the power of visual communication and the urge to create an effective and lasting impact over people Yana established her own independent creative studio focused on art direction and content creation for advertising – SQUARED. Design Rs for Valencia is a creative solidarity initiative responding to the devastating Dana floods. In collaboration with Graffica and powered by Truyol Digital, Squared contributed three original artworks for a limited edition charity sale. Designed to symbolize resilience, unity, and renewal, the posters transform design into direct action. The campaign not only raised essential funds but also reinforces the power of creativity in fostering social change and collective impact.

The ad campaign aims to raise awareness about Harlequin syndrome. This is a syndrome affecting the autonomic nervous system and is associated with absence of sweating and flushing of skin on one side of the face. The agency developed key visual illustrations which are based on the juxtaposition of the different representations of harlequin aiming to shed light on the disparity between the comical representation of the character and the reality of living with Harlequin syndrome, emphasizing the need for greater understanding and awareness of the condition.

Goodbikes is a community driven initiative that transforms tourism into a force for social good in Namibia. By encouraging visitors in Swakopmund to purchase bicycles at preferential rates and donate them before departing, the project provides essential transportation for local residents. In collaboration with businesses and the municipality, each donated bike is repaired and redistributed, fostering greater mobility, supporting locals, and promoting sustainable, low carbon transport. A simple yet powerful idea, Goodbikes proves thoughtful design and collective action drive real impact.

For a grooming salon that offers luxurious pampering and top notch treatments for dogs a wide range of branded content is developed to form a whole new visual communication to help tell that new story. Dogs have their own character, style, personality and are displayed as protagonists deserving the ultimate in doggy pampering.

Balin is a brand offering beautifully crafted toys that educate, inspire and delight. Their aim is to promote healthy active play, develop social and emotional skills and foster knowledge about the environment through fun and engaging play experience. The design team developed all aspects of their communication: from the design of their logo and branding assets to the colors and shapes of their toys and characters... and then brought them to life in a series of charming illustrations. Each character has a name and story behind, helping to build an emotional connection with children.
