Garment
The Kinematic Konnection garment is intricately pieced with lasercut elements of translucent acrylic. The method of joinery was selected to parallel restrictions faced as an aspiring ballet dancer and the sacrifices made to fit unrealistic aesthetic standards of an antiquated industry. The pattern of this garment is constructed mathematically, meticulously considered by standards of form, fashion and functionality. Unlike the flow of fabricated textiles, this garment pushes technical boundaries through unparalleled juxtaposition.
