Residential House
The circular flow and design keeps the space open, making it easier to move around in the space. The owners can enjoy the fresh air and interact with daylight while inside the home. The open-plan design keeps family members connected. Children can play and explore in the space as much as they want while parents are able to keep an eye on them, increasing the interaction among the family. Life is shaped by people, not décor.

Multi Residential
Central to the concept of Wabi-Sabi is a minimalist aesthetic that embraces the naturalistic, the rustic, the imperfect. For the doctor-couple's home, this meant that the wall separating their living and dining rooms had to go, like surgically removing plaque from arteries. This opened the space up, allowing them to then give the dining room a dual use as a reading nook flanked by a bookshelf built into the wall dividing the dining room from the master bedroom. A foldable glass door can separate the reading room from all other spaces without hogging up any of the natural light.
